How to save power.

1.  Buy solar panels if you can.
2. Have a shower for like 4 to 3 minutes.
3. Turn the lights off when you're not using them.
4. Don't play games too much and watch t.v too long.
5. Use L.E.D lights.
6. Turn down the heater or use a jumper if cold.
7. Close the lid of the pots.
8. Use bicycle or walk. 
9. Turn water off after washing hands because if 

it's dripping it can waste a lot of water and in just 

30 mins it can fill a whole bottle.

10. Turn plugs off if you're not using them.
11.  Don’t over charge your gadgets.
12.  Use natural lights by opening the curtains. 
13.  Dry your clothes outside and not use 

the washing machine.

14.  Close the fridge door and don't put hot meals inside because it takes a lot of energy to cool it down.

In reality,  we all don't want to be remembered as a student that never respects others, never did her/his work and always did the wrong thing. For myself, I want to be remembered as  someone who is caring and hardworking. I would be very happy to leave Glen Innes School if the others remembered me for these things.

Firstly I want to be remembered as a caring student. To be a caring student, I have to help others that are struggling and be friends with people who are not so confident.  This often means I must include people when I play a game. Also, I need to make them happy when they are feeling sad or feeling lonely.

Being remembered as a good student is excellent. People will think you were a bright student and they will most likely want to be like you but try to be better. Being a bright student might inspire the little juniors because you will set a good example for them.

You don't want to be remembered as a student that was negative because having this trait will lead you nowhere on this earth. People will think of your image in a bad way. You would set a bad example to young juniors. They will think you're doing the right thing but they don't know it's wrong.

No one will want to remember you as an awful student. When I say awful, I mean a student that was unpleasant. Like I said, it will lead you to nowhere on this planet and follow you throughout your life. Do you really want to be remembered like that?

Teachknowledge

Today in tamaki college my group and I made necklaces with pewter. We were allowed to pick any kind of photo as long as it never had any details in the middle. I picked an elephant because I really love elephants. we traced the photo on a small little cardboard and then we poured pewter inside it. It looked statisfying when we poured it in and after that we waited for about 5 mins. Finally it was finished it looked like and actually necklace but better. 

What I did in tech.

Today my group and I were picking photos for our necklace. We had to pick a photo that had no design in the middle because it will be much difficult to make. As soon as we finished picking our photo our tech teacher would show us how what we needed to do next. He showed us we had to copy which photo we wanted and pace it in a small square. Next he said we had to scribble at the back where the photo was and then trace the image in front. After that we used a machine that cuts 50 times a second to cut out the photo shape.Then we poured silver into the shape of the photo and left it cool down for a little. Then the necklace is done and you can wear it anywhere.

Bestfriends !

They had always been together, for as long as he could remember.

They had always been the best of friends.

I  had taught him everything he knew, relentlessly preparing him

for life in the outside world.

We met when we were little kids.

We were best friends and we told each other

everything even though he couldn't speak english.

Everyday I trained him to be aggressive in case he

gets lost in the outlands area where all the predators lived.

We were becoming teenages and he was almost 3 times

Shaquille O'neal's height. Wow, I know right he is really tall.

Everyday it was a struggle for us because we will always

have to head out to the outlands and hunt down  food

without getting caught by hyenas. It was all going well until

I was caught up with a whole pack of hyenas ready to eat me for dinner.

I was panicking not knowing what to do so I ran as fast as I could.

Luckily I got saved from my best friend  that stayed behind on a look out.

We sneaked out some food enough to keep us full for the rest of the

sunny day. We lived like that the rest of our lives but we were used to it.

Unfortunately he had to go because the life out here was too wild.

I really enjoyed it. It was fun diving deep into what art really means, I've also learnt new things I never knew before. I was surprised by what my teacher said about if there was a turtle walking away it meant that they don't love each other anymore. Another fact was when there was a baby angel’s flying in the sky, it meant that they loved each other. My favorite part was when my class and I went to the disco room, it was really funny,dancing and sliding which nearly ripped my pants. Finally it was time to go home and I was sad because of how much we had fun with our friends laughing and being naughty.tyt

After all the Art gallery was the best trip I’ve ever been too I hope I can go next term again.

Ned show.

Today at Glen Innes school Ned came to our school and  performed a show. The show was extremely encouraging me to never ever In my life to give up, to try my best every day. Also the thing that stood out the most to me Is to never never say I can't do it but to say I can't do it yet.
