Technology.

Today for technology my group and I finished off from where we left off last week. We were sand papering the little piece of wood we cut off with a saw to fit in the joint. The sawing took me like 5-10 minutes because of how caution I was and the sand papering was literally annoying. So annoying it probably took me over 10 minutes  to make it smooth enough fit inside the joint. The joint was a bit too tight so Mr Grundy added a little of glue to make it slide in and stay inside until the glue was dried. Unfortunately this is how much work I did for today, hopefully I finish more work next week.

Today we read a poem called :Afakasi Chameleon by Selina Tusitala Marsh who is the first PI to be a PhD. The book was about how it doesn't matter about if you're an afakasi or not, whether you're from New Zealand,Australia,America or Fiji. We are all afakasi. The words on the chameleon represent me and what I like to play and some of my favourite things.

This is my results for my e-asttle test as you can see It's not really that good. What I need to learn to explain the meaning of the digits in numbers using tenths, hundredths and thousandths ( 3 decimal places ).

All About Me.

Talofa Lava my name is Junior I am 12 years old and I go to Glen Innes School. My favourite sport is probably basketball only because I'm pretty good at it, not really. I love playing games on my ps4 like 2k or  any type of shooting games ( I used to play fortnite a lot and was pretty good to be honest I was one of the best in the school). My goal for this year is to achieve the academic award at the end of the year and to get a scholarship to Tamaki College/ To excellent in school. I love doing maths/math tests but not really writing nor reading because my strength is maths also because its my favourite subject out of the three. My favorite colour is black because its a amazing colour, I love watching anime and my favourite anime is attack on titan because of the plot in it, foreshadowing, also the animation is wonderful. My favourite pet is probably a dog because they are literally cute and many more amazing things.

Life cycle of a frog

These are some facts about frogs and in  class today we learnt how frogs metamorphosis and how they frogspawn. Frogs start off as eggs then they will transform into a tadpole, But the jelly they are protected in they eat it for food so therefore they will transform into a froglet. After That they will absorb their tail for nutrients and they will in large into a frog and that's the life cycle.

The Maze - Robotics

Today my group and I joined the robotics class. We played a maze game that needed coding to control it. We had to finish 20 levels, then take an screenshot on how we done the coding and put it in a slide. After 20 or 30 minutes of finishing off our coding game, we played a quizzes game, involving the whole class. We had 2 games and I came 2nd on our first game and 1st on our second game. The game was about logos and it was pretty easy. Actually, it was so easy I got all of the questions correct on our second game. Today in robotics was pretty fun and I enjoyed coding. I cant wait to do more.

My highlights in room 11.

In room 11 we got to do lots of supherb stuff like playing

sport games but my favourite was playing soccer boys vs

girls. I learnt lots of cool tricks like a rainbow flick, and

how to curve a ball and how to juggle with the ball. I like

soccer because it is a game that anyone can play and because

it keeps my body in good condition. Also I like doing fitness

with my classmates and room 10 because it also keeps my

blood pumping at all times. But as I said soccer is

my favourite sport so I practice with Peliasi and delyan

on the field every time at lunch time while Honor and Baker

are playing with girls on the gutter board.

Technology

Today was my group and I first day back from the two week holiday. Today was actually a good day because more people actually finished then last term. Basically today was the day when everyone was actually tried to finish their because we were all on sand papering our pewter necklace. Everyone was doing well even me even though I missed one day I still caught up with everyone and now I'm on the part when we sandpaper the edges which is the second to last part. Hopefully I will finnish next week and get to wear my beautiful pewter necklace.

Technology.

Today in our technology class, I finally moved on to pouring in the pewter to get the shape I wanted for my necklace.  Now, I just needed to carve out the mistakes to make it look better. When complete that, I would have to use sandpaper to make it look shiny and smooth on the inside. I still need to make a box for my necklace.

This is social media. Mostly everyone on this planet has been on it and
in 2019 3.5 billion people were

social media users. People from any age around the world go on it and
also people cyberbully others that
go on any of these sites. Cyber Bullying has caused many young people
and adults to commit suicide also
there is probably over 1 million people that committed suicide over
cyberbullying. Some people even go
through depression while being bullied and it might make them have
suicidal thoughts. It can not only
prevent people from suicidal decisions it can also be addicting.
Lots of people will get addicted to these
sites and they will probably be on this site 24/7. People will also
spread stupid rumors about something or
someone and this situation is pretty much connected with cyber
bullying. In my opinion the way we can
stop this is probably by avoiding social media and talking to someone
if you're feeling depressed or if
you're getting bullied.

For 8 times tables this is my hit the button results. I never thought I would ever get an good mark on 8 times tables but I was wrong. I know this isn't the greatest score but at least I gave it my best and probably next time I'll try to get an higher score.

Technology

Today my group and I carved out our necklaces and it not as easy as I thought but I managed to finish carving my necklace.  I carved an elephant because  elephants are adorable and it's my favourite wild animal. Sadly I wasn't able to finish my necklace because I still had to pour in the pewter and then carve it again.  Next week I'm actually going  to try and finish it so I can wear it.
